Pacino miscast

"I couldn't believe for a minute Pacino stared in this movie. He was totally miscast and too old for the part. His hair and beard were so fake looking. He is a much better actor than this role in the movie. I was sorry I wasted the money to see this picture. Better luck next time."

Are you kidding me?!?

"I really thought this would be great - at least good - hopefully okay - ... I thought wrong! This had no suspense - it was not thrilling - trying to pull off the idea that everyone was in on it like Agatha Christy does just left me not caring at all who really did it. And what the hec was with Al Pacino (whom I usually love) and his hair - plus that was a nice tan he had during the school year in Seattle. I wouldn't even recommend waiting until dvd - wait until you want to punish yourself for being bad and watch it on network tv - if they even want to show it. I give it an 'F'"

Ask for your money back at the Theater!

"If you have been conned into see this movie, or any other rotten movie, insist the movie theater refunds your money to send a message to those who made the film, or you will just be encouraging them to make more bad movies. It is up to you to bring them back to reality. I personally am annoyed with the 'plants' they hire to post positive reviews of films that are real losers, so they could con you into paying to see it in order to alleviate THEIR problem of making a really bad film."

Incoherent rubbish film

"I would rather have slammed my hand in the car door than watch this pathetic movie. bjonesmedia, Santa Fe"

Taunt, suspensful thriller... much better than I thought it would be

"Ignore the negative reviews. This film is a pretty good suspense story. Al has to find out who is trying to kill him and how they are connected to a killer he helped put away years before. As a professor at a college Al suspects a lot of his students as possible suspects in whoever is taunting him. There is a constant nice pace to the film.. no dragging and boring parts. If you enjoy people racing against the clock to find the killer this movie is much better than all the negative reviews would lead you to believe."

Worth Seeing

"Really not sure why this movie is getting such bad reviews from critics and movie-goers. It's not the best movie ever. But if you like a crime/thriller, then I think you'll enjoy. Yeh, some parts are a bit over the top...but that never seems to be a problem for, say, Bruce Willis fans! Go. Kick back. Enjoy. It's worth it."

Horrible movie

"I expected a really good, cool movie, but what I got was nightmares for life! Do not go see thins movie, the ending was horrific and gross. It was real torture."

criticsstink | 04/26/2008 10:12 PM Notify

We really liked it!

"It wasn't his absolute best movie, but it was really worth seeing! We are huge Pacino fans and we loved it! Good plot, great twists, he had a tender side and a tough side... I don't wanna be hard on him on this one... the ending was an on the edge of your seat ending and loved it! We did wonder how many takes he had to do to get all the running scenes in...I mean he's pushing 70? And he ran like 35...we found that a little incredulous, but hey, he looked great doing it! All in all, we're glad we went...it was entertaining and that's what we paid for!"

Worst movie I've seen in awhile

"I'm a fan of Al Pacino so I kept asking myself throughout the whole movie what kind of a financial pickle Al must be in to do such a terribly written movie. It got so bad that it turned into a comedy shortly after it started as movie goers laughed from one ridiculous seen to the next. Al looked totally confused and befuddled as the lines painfully came from his mouth. Almost as if he knew that this was all a terrible mistake but the contracts were already signed. If your looking for a classic "How to end a great actor career movie" then I would absolutely suggest this movie to you"

Al, You're Better Than This

"I love Al Pacino as much as anybody, but I hated this movie. I'm tired of seeing long, drawn out torture scenes (especially against women) in movies. The acting by supporting cast was horrible. The dialogue just made me laugh. And it was very formulistic to several recent movies Pacino has made where he essentially plays the same type of character in the same type of story. Al, give us more Scent of A Woman; Merchant of Venice; Donnie Brasco and Sea of Love. You are so much better than this."

Excellent movie- Pacino gave a stellar performance

"Edge of your seat thriller. One of the best I've seen in years. Surprise ending. Great movie. Pacino's performance was flawless. I intend to see it again."

Awesome.

"I'm so glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews, because I really enjoyed this movie!"

Very suspenseful movie

"I can't believe all the bad reviews on this movie. My hubby and I really liked it. It was a thriller with a who is doing all the killing combined. Al was great in the movie. Supporting cast was fine but maybe more notable people would have been an asset."

lilipad22 | 04/21/2008 07:54 PM Notify

A total waste of time and money

"The best thing I can say about 88 minutes is the beautifully decorated apartment Al Pacino lived in. Not recommended."

pomspringz | 04/21/2008 03:54 PM Notify

At Least 88 things wrong with this movie...

"Stay away -- waste of time. Some nice shots of Seattle, but I'm not even sure it was all filmed there. Mr. Pacino had bad make-up and hair, and he was too old for the role. The supporting cast slogs their way through the movie with more bad choices for the acting roles."

lhalasa | 04/21/2008 12:55 PM Notify

Worst Pacino movie ever !!!

"I am one of the biggest Al Pacino fans ever. This movie was a total disappointment. I'm sorry I didn't read everyone's reviews before going to see it. Total waste of money, sorry I didn't wait for it to come on HBO, I could have saved $11.00. The story line was so bad, even HE couldn't save this movie."

rothcom | 04/21/2008 11:02 AM Notify

The worst....

"Unbelievable that Pacino could do such a horrific movie. Yes...his acting was good...I guess. Of course it was people...this is Al Am I unique in wanting to go to a movie that entertains me. I have seen many low budget films with no Marquis actors gracing the screen but the entertainment value has overpowered me. To have a movie rely on Pacino's name to carry the weight of one of the most ridulously written screenplays ever is really just an insult to the educated audience that went to see a good Al Pacino movie. Additionally...am I the only one who wonders how all of the poor reviews ahead of mine all have 4 stars? Something is messed up???"

88 minutes feels like 88 Hours

"Pacino is great but casting was terrible defense attorney looked like a posing model judge looked like a graduate student other actors were awful i found myself sitting in theatre and looking at screen and thinking i am not interested in what happens next this is a murder mystery and i am not on the edge of my seat but about to take a nap who needs this time wasting abuse and so i left about an hour into the movie"

writerfromhp | 04/21/2008 12:41 AM Notify

A Waste of 88 Minutes

"Actually, it was a waste of Al Pacino's talents and name and of my time and money. The plot is so Byzantine and senseless it's obvious the writers confused even themselves by the end of the movie. While Pacino's acting was first rate, his skills shined more than usual because his B-list co-stars were so wooden they looked like they were reading their lines off teleprompters. Absolutely not one moment of this movie was believable or even compelling. At best I'd call it a low rent, soft-core slasher film with putrid plotting, overblown special effects, buzz-saw editing and supporting actor performances that fell flat. Is there a minus 5 star rating available?"

Al OK, Movie Not OK

"I did not like it. Plot was complicated and unrealistic. Al was good, as usual. If you do see it, make a special effort to remember the names of the women. There was 4 or 5 of them and I forgot their names."

"Can Al Pacino make a bad movie? NO Any movie with him is good. He takes the movie and makes the movie."

88 minutes of crap

"Do not waste your time on this movie. It is absolutely a joke and makes no sense. The plot is all over the place and the ending is just not believable. The writers were totally reaching with this movie and it insults the intelligence and will test the patience of any true suspense movie buff. Tic Tock Doc, C'mon..."

americancropins | 04/20/2008 09:57 AM Notify

Was this a comedy?

"We've been dying to see a good movie and this was not it. The whole movie from beginning to end was a joke. In our theater the audience was mumbling and making fun of Pacino who looked silly with his ********* hairdoo as he dive rolled and ran through one rediculous scene to the next. As for suspense or twists, by the time the movie was over You didn't even care how it ended as long as it just did. Please don't waste time or money on this let down."

winiwilliams | 04/20/2008 09:37 AM Notify

a waste of 88 of my minutes

"This movie apparently was never edited. It was all over the place and never believable. Even Al wasn't up to snuff. Do not waste your money. Hey Al, the hair implants at the front of your forehead looked glued into place."

budmauro1 | 04/20/2008 01:34 AM Notify

Poor plot line

"Al Pacino is the best of the best. However, this movie was a bust. Pacino's acting held the movie together. The scipt was not believable, nor was LeeLee as the serial copycat killer. I wasn't convinced that she could have pulled it off. The writers and directors were at fault. Too many cell phone calls that worked in under ground garages and else where was unreal. "Can you hear me now"? Good job Al. You held it together. Be more choosey on your next one. This one was below you."

xngrd | 04/19/2008 11:50 PM Notify

Save your money

"Al flatlined this one. Like a bad TV movie. It seemed as though Pacino was laughing at the co-stars and the audience the whole show. Anytime there are this many twists and turns you can be sure that the writers had no plan -- just kept throwing in things one after another. Lee Lee (SP) was totallyunconvincing as the killer. Waste of money. Stay at home andwhat is the story with you reviewers that thought this was awonderful movie and "on the edge of your seat". Were you asleep?"

chicagosol | 04/19/2008 11:29 PM Notify

Just plain stupid

"Worst movie I've ever seen Pacino in. Looks like they shot it inabout 1 week. Al must have needed a few quick bucks and everyone else probably worked for nothing just to be able to work with Pacino. Lots of "hugging" and "patch that call thru"You other folks are just too hungry for a good movie."

dentaworld5 | 04/19/2008 09:51 PM Notify

Awesome Movie, A must see!

"Wonderful! I saw the movie on Friday morning and was thrilled with the performance of Al Pacino. A real suspense movie. Worth the money and will see it again!"
