Critic Reviews
One of the best American films of the year so far.
Read the full reviewThere are times when the comedian falls back on his typical shtick, but the film doesn't shy away from the darkness inherent in this kind of story, and it has a heart.
Read the full reviewClick manages to sneak some surprisingly moving moments in between the gross-out gags and the schmaltzy resolutions.
Read the full reviewThe movie is gag-filled, as you would expect of a Sandler movie, but the filmmakers realize they have hit upon an idea that is both clever and good, so they edge their comedy into some darker areas of human behavior.
Read the full reviewIf it doesn't quite represent the new, improved Adam Sandler, it shows him almost desperately trying to figure out who that might be.
Read the full reviewAt times dark and at other times gooey.
Read the full reviewIt's not just sad, it's brutal. There's an undercurrent of cold, detached cruelty in the way Michael uses the magical device.
Read the full reviewCharlie Kaufman could have made a great movie out of Click, a soupy existential comedy about a "universal remote" that lets a man magically rewind, fast-forward, and pause his life.
Read the full reviewDespite its ultra-formulaic premise and juvenile sense of humor, there are a few laughs, and the movie's heart is generally in the right place, with the notable exception of racist characterizations of an Arab prince and Japanese businessmen.
Read the full reviewAdam Sandler's recent low-key phase continues with this cleverly conceived but conspicuously unfunny comedy.
Read the full reviewFollowing the lead tendered by the credited screenwriters, Steve Koren and Mark O'Keefe, the director Frank Coraci struggles to push the character toward the kind of age-appropriate complexity lost on Mr. Sandler, forgetting that his star only works when, as all those ponderous bosoms suggest, he's un-weaned.

Read the full reviewA crass physical comedy of unrelenting irrelevance with a gag or two amid the many other examples of bad taste, extrapolating toward infinite on the theme of remote control reality.

ONE OF MY FAVORiTE MOViES! =)
"adam sandler, of course, is hillarious. and then, it made me and my friends cry. i love this movie with all my guts."
Five Stars!!!
"This movie is soooo cool!!! I'm only 15 but that makes no difference... ever since i saw the trailer, i've wanted to watch this movie! my dad brought home a bootleg copy and even though it was messing up, I still liked the movie. like everyone else said, this movie is no comedy. it's more of a drama. i think adam sandler did a supior job. if you really pay close attention to the movie, you could actually learn something. Wanna know what you can learn? How about you buy the DVD and wacth it for yourself? it's off the chain!!!"
hi
"the critcs are wrong , big daddy quote "critics are cynical a- holes " . they can be to brutal when the review a movie .this movie has some funny parts like the kid being accused of pot and the dog humping a duck was hillarious . this movie's more a drama then a comedy . you cant take thing for granted . family does come first over work . u only have 1 family , u can always find another job . i wish i can have that remote to see my past again and future."
GOOOOD
"i thought this movie was very impressive. Not at all what I was expecting, but a pleasant surprise. I thought it was a little too dramatic in parts (the rain scene) but AWESOME otherwise."
not cool
"i went to blockbuster to get this movie and i came back and poped it into the dvd player after about 20 minutes of comedy and a few funny parts it really got into the story and it dawned on me... this wasnt even a comedy this was a drama. this movie will make you cry or come close to it and it doesnt stop until the very end.the trailer twists the story line so it appears to be laugh after laugh but in reality it is a depressing hour and a half. unless you want to see an adam sandler drama..... dont get this movie!"
great story, funny, and emotional
"this movie was awesome! i just read some of the critic reviews and im both shocked and confused at what they said. did they see the same movie?! why do we need critics? let the audience decide and get a new job!this movie was very funny, and in between tought a very important lesson. the end was so sad, me and my girlfriend both cried.adam sandler not only writes great movies, but theyre are very sharp and intelligent in terms of the values hes unwittingly teaching us.go out and see this movie. these critics are out of their minds."
Amazing yet Sad
"I thought the movie was amazing but there was this one part that touched me the most.Youll just have see the movie to find out what was so tuching about it. It was amazing because most of the senes were funny and the rest were not that funny. You should get this movie!"
Adam Sandler has done it again
"Not only that he made me laugh, but cry as well. It makes you realize how much family really is, and for once Adam's not the drunk lunatic, he's a good guy trying to manage family time and work. I don't understand why someone would rate this movie so poorly. This is one of Sandler's best films, and deep down I think he knows it."
Oh my God.
"I heard good and bad things about this movie. Good things were it was touching made you cry etc.. Bad was it was osme some level perverted. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone under 14 or 15 but. This movie made me cry so hard. I'm 15 16 in a few months, and I can't believe I've never felt so strongly to have tears to such a level as I did in this movie. I think it really gets you to think about your proitys, I meanEveryone is always focusing on working and pushing themselves harder but in the end, why? why push yourself so hard that you don't have time with your family. Don't make that mistake. ever. family first just like he said at the end. This movie will make you cry, but you should see it."
Funny/Sad
"This movie was so funny, but yet so sad. If you have a family and a career you can really relate to this movie and truly understand the battle of family or career."
