With top-drawer voice talent including Joan Plowright and Dick Van Dyke, original songs by Jack Johnson, and old-fashioned two-dimensional animation that echoes the simple colors and shapes of the books, Curious George is an unexpected delight.
Read the full reviewGeorge is cute, and the simple story has its entertaining moments.
Read the full reviewThe film has a little too much of the "new adventures" feel, but it's still fun.

Read the full reviewI was pleasantly surprised to discover that the new cartoon of Curious George, featuring the voice of Will Ferrell as the Man in the Yellow Hat, doesn't veer all that far from the soothing tone of the books.

great
"I think the movie was great and so did my 4 yaer old and 2 year old. Neither of them found it remotly scary."
Scary for young
"My grandson, 4, sat in my lap for part of the movie wiping his eyes. Afterward, he wanted to know if we would lose him and where his mom and dad were...were they lost. What would happen if he got lost from me, etc. Much of the movie dealt with Ted, Man in Yellow Hat, trying to get rid of George and not being nice to him. Any future movies should not have this problem and be great for young kids."
Very well done
"My husband and I brought our 3 year old and he LOVED it. WMy husband and I were entertained as well. We are planning on seeing it again and will look for it as a gift once on DVD!"
Adorable
"I saw this movie with my two younger cousins, they are 5 and 3, they loved it, especially the 3 year old. I was also sitting next to another 3 year old who was laughing the whole time. This movie kept the kids in their seats and interested. I almost cried towards the end when the man in the yellow hat sent George away. Overall I loved the movie and would see it over and over. Jack Johnson did an absolute fablous job on the soundtrack and I look forward to hearing the entire CD."
Very Cute.
"The movie started a little slow for my 3 yr. old but overall is very cute and both my kids loved it. The music in it by Jack Johnson is awesome, my kids can't get enough of the sondtrack."
