Critic Reviews
If you attend the movie with your expectations lowered by Murphy's recent films, you'll be reasonably amused.
Read the full reviewThe Daddy Day Care business model appears to be the 1983 Michael Keaton vehicle ''Mr. Mom,'' put on an unstoppable sugar high.
Read the full reviewAn easy-on-the-sensibilities family film, Eddie Murphy practically assumes the easygoing manner of Mister Rogers, a character he used to wickedly lampoon on "Saturday Night Live."
Read the full reviewA big-screen sitcom so sleepy and juvenile it might as well come with its own nap break.
Read the full reviewScarcely more amusing than spending 90 minutes in a pre-K classroom.
Read the full reviewThis is one of those nearly unwatchable movies that becomes an endurance contest for any thinking adult.
Read the full reviewMurphy looks comatose delivering the played-out poopy jokes.
Read the full reviewA parent-and-kid-oriented comedy about the adventures of men doing the hard work of mommies, which couldn't be more timely -- or less delightful.
Read the full reviewYou know something is wrong when a preschooler's unwitting ad-libs are funnier than anything seasoned comedy writers can come up with. Kids say the darnedest things. Too bad the grown-ups don't.
Read the full reviewAggressively simple-minded, it's fueled by the delusion that it has a brilliant premise: Eddie Murphy plus cute kids equals success. But a premise should be the starting point for a screenplay, not its finish line.

"the offspring has some good songs on some of their cd's"
LOVED IT!!!
"I saw it opening night and can't wait to see it again. The covers were great...one or two not so good but I'll let you make your own judgement. If you enjoy Beatles music then go. Most of those newspaper critics are super snobs...pay no mind to their reviews. Ebert gave it 100 and he is the coolest!!!!! I just purchased the soundtrack."
NAM'S: Eddie Who?
"Eddie...are you reading the scripts they give you before accepting the offer? Sure doesn't seem like it. I have no suggestions for Eddie. Adults, stay away from this movie...has annoying written all over it. I'm sure kids will love it...because of the annoyance, they could relate. - Jim Nam contact: Jimnam@gmail.com"
