"A good movie whilst you're watching it, but even better to joke about after. Sometimes a little retarded but maybe that's the point...stupid directors a mocking movie=stupid jokes and cliche humor. But wateva makes u happy...the pimp my bride thing wasnt funny it was gross and a dues ex machina to come up with how she gets pretty. The ending was ok. I guess. Oh what the hell, maybe it was good but i'm a critic through and through. Worth watching WITH A FRIEND...its no good by yourself!"
A Horrible Mess of a Movie!
"The sad thing is- this movie could have been great! Come on, a take- off of some of the most famous comedy movies all-in- one? An idea like that could really get you somewhere- but what on earth were these people thinking when they made this movie?! First off, NONE of the humor was original simply because the writers had taken the original jokes from the other movies and turned it into some gross gag joke. All of the hopeful "laughs" in this movie just made me (and the others watching it with me) say "EW!" I'm not even kidding, there was not one hint of amusment or laughter coming from any of us. The gags were just so uneeded and disgusting it made it seem like the writers of this movie were BEGGING a laugh out of the whole mess. Seriously, these "jokes" are worthy of the cover-your-eyes-this-is-so-gross title. It was so bad, we just decided to turn it off (it was in the middle of the movie) and watch Zoolander. I know, it MUST say somthing if we like movies like Zoolander and Naoplean Dynamite, but can't find any way of liking a movie like Date Movie. It wasn't funny or amusing. Sorry, but this movie is not even worth enough to go down into the Hall of Movie Shame. Hopefully it will be a forgotten mess by next movie season."
