Elite Squad (Tropa de Elite) Synopsis

Set in the mid-90's in the most vicious, drug ridden slums of Rio de Janeiro, 'Elite Squad' tells the true story of two long-time friends who become undercover agents in an elite operations unit created to assassinate drug lords. As violence and police corruption begin to fracture both their personal lives and their friendship, both men risk it all and turn against the system.
