Frontal Nudity...
"It was ridiculous that they had to show frontal nudity (3x-I might add) in this movie. Since when is this ok?And the movie was not funny enough to even support that. I can not understand how this was allowed..."
A DISGUSTING PIECE OF JUNK--FORGETTING SARAH
"SAW THIS MOVIE TODAY - DEFINITELY SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THIS OUT BETTER. THE MALE GUY WHO SHOWED HIS GENTIALS OFTEN NEEDS HELP- NOT ONLY IS HE FAT BUT IS NOT WELL ENDOWED AT ALL - IF ANYONE SHOULD HAVE KEPT HIS CLOTHES ON THIS GUY SHOULD - NO STORY LINE, A VERY STUPID UNINTERESTING - NON FUNNY MOVIE - JUST PLAIN DUMB. THE SARAH ACTRESS IS NO BETTER - SHE CANNOT ACT ANYWAY AND HE TRIED BUT WAS REALLY PATHETIC. REALLY WANTED TO LEAVE SLIP INTO ANOTHER SHOW OR GET MY MONEY BACK BUT I JUST SAT THERE AND SUFFERED."
very funny
"I went last nite with my boyfriend. We laughed thru the entire movie, as did most of the audience members. The plot was ok,after all it is something we all will eventually go thru (having our hearts ripped apart, in a failed relationship). The newlyweds were very funny. I guess some people on here dont have a sense of humor. Overall I would recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor over the age of 18, and definately not a first date movie."

Vulgar and disgusting

"So i went to see this movie with my friends last weekend and some of them enjoyed it, other didn't. But anyone who believes this movie wasn't funny is obviously wrong. The nudity wasn't necessary, I'll admit that, but that doesn't mean you have to say "oh well i walked out of the room". Just turn your head if you can't stand it. Some of the jokes were weak and the plot was okay but besides the nudity and some cursing it was a pretty good movie. I recommend it."
Forgetting Sarah Marshall Is A Good Thing
"My boyfriend and I went to see this movie. We were warned about the male nudity, but wasn't told his p**** would be shown several times. The newly married couple with sex problems, that was absolutely DISGUSTING. One scene where the rock star is showing the new groom how to have sex while using large chess pieces as a prop was soo gross that I actually turned my head. HORRIBLE movie!!!"

"I'm looking on this and i actually can't believe how many bad reviews this movie got. I thought this movie was really funny. Fact...not the funniest movie out there and also not the best plot line but come on people. If you cant tell from the previews that this movie is going to pay more attention to the humor than it does how effective the plot is than you guys are the idiots. Superbad in my opinion was one of the funniest movies last year. It had a pretty weak plot as well. If you liked superbad you'll prolly like this movie. If your looking for just a laughs and a good time go see this. I do warn though. Dont go see this with anybody you would feel uncomfortable with watching sex scenes and stuff like that. OH AND BTW. Its not uncomfortable when a girl shows her boobs in a movie but out of humor a guy shows his parts and its automatically offensive. Get over it people."
It was a complete disaster
"Like many reviewers, because of the hilarious trailer, I was looking forward to having a good laugh at the actual movie. To my utter disappointment, however, the film was a disaster. The one-liners were weak. The romantic angle between Mila Kunis and Jason Segel was not well thought out. Bill Hader's and Russel Brand's characters were completely annoying. In summary, the poor character development and weak story line make this movie insufferable. Special mention has to be made of Jason Segel's exposing his genitals on screen. Those scenes were completely unnecessary for the film. I have no idea why they kept those scenes in the movie."
Worst Movie I've Seen In A Long Time
"A comedy, ok where were the laughs supposed to be? I took my friend to this because of the great reviews and they were bored and wanted to leave before the movie was half over. I usually don't listen to the critics and I shouldn't have this time as this movie was not a comedy but a very sad story and not worth anyones money!"
Very funny for Adults only (hence the R rating) comedy
"This was so funny. I saw a lot of reviews that were appalled by the nudity. Well not everyone wants to see Disney movies. If it's rated R, that is a good clue that there might be some scenes that might be uncomfortable to watch with your 16 year old son. Take responsibility before taking your kids to see an R rated movie. I laughed my head off. But it's not for everyone. If you are shocked and offended by nudity and adults talking about sex, then this movie isn't for you. Stick to something more vanilla."

Waste of time and money!
"We walked out halfway through this movie. We watched male nudity - front, back, and bend over. We listened to non-stop talk about sex that became disgusting. The male lead was constantly crying and depressed. If you like gutter talk and casual sex then you might like this movie."
Do Not See This Movie, especially with your kids
"Too long and not funny. The best lines came from the audience, such as when Peter asks the doc to look at his p*****, an audience member (me) says: EVERYONE ELSE HAS. That got the biggest laugh. Trust me, you do not want to see this film."
OMG - totally unnecessary nudity, sex, and language
"I am no prude and not a religious fanatic either, but I sure wish someone had warned me about the never-ending frontal nude scenes of a not-so-attractive male before I sat in a theater between my husband (who had wanted to see Leatherheads instead) and my 16 year old stepson. Then, not to mention the variety of sexual positions flashed across the screen...oh, my! This could have been a really cute movie if the language, nudity, and sex had been left out. I really could do without seeing his you know so many times. This haunted me just like seeing Kathy Bates' butt in "Schmidt"...another thing I could have lived my life without seeing!!!!"
RUSSEL BRAND STOLE THIS MOVIE
"Enjoyed the movie; loved the characterizations but not too keen on the cast other than Russel Brand. He absolutely saved it. I would recommend it based on his performance. As for the lame puppet subplot, it should have been left on the cutting room flloor."

Better Than Some Of These Reviews...
"No, this wasn't the absolute funniest comedy I've ever seen, but it still held its own compared to some of the other comedies out there today.Peter's character was exactly as it should have been, making him a normal, approachable "guy" who could very well land two beautiful women. His normalcy is ultimately what pushed Sarah away and allowed Rachel to move in a score big time. He was almost a bit too whiny at the beginning, but he grew on me, though.As for those "marching" out of the theater after being offended by what they saw, heard or thought: C'mon, give me a break! If you've sat through much of the Tom Cruise "crap" he's put out in his career, this was hardly any more difficult..."

"First of all - this should have had a NC-17 rating. That's not what bothered me though - I felt the sex was what made it funny. Too many characters to follow. Rocker guy was the best thing in it. I give it a "C" ... wait for the dvd"

"Well first off I think they should have found someone a little better looking than the guy who played peter. The first thing that I told my hubby about the movie was that there is no way a guy like that would get those two girls especially with the way his character was. The movie was funny but def not as good as wedding crashers. There were a lot of moments where you are watching and you feel akward for the characters and what is going on with them. I would say this is a one time see movie."
Overrated
"Adolescent sexual humor. The main character, Peter, is a whining narcisstic jerk as is his ex girlfriend. Peter is banging away all day and night with whoever. Who could care about these people? Mila as Rebecca is a knockout and the only interesting character. Great Hawaiin scenery."

I don't usually want to go to anything I might even THINK might be offensive, so I send a friend in for me. in this case, my best bud came out at the same time I broke loose of Horton Hears a Who, and she was laughing so hard she couldn't talk. I think this bodes well for my future concerning Forgetting Sarah Marshall..."

"I maybed laughed once or twice throughout the whole movie....Some people found it offensive which obviously I think those people are really uptight and they don't find anything funny....but this movie...just was NOT at all funny...it was boring and I will never believe critic's reviews again.. 40 year old virgin and wedding crashers are great movies..every comedy after those two went downhill in my opinion."
