What Common Sense Media Says...
Critic Reviews
The big payoff, of course, is Neil Patrick Harris reprising his role as "Neil Patrick Harris."
Read the full reviewAn over-the-top and beyond-PC comedy that sometimes deftly, sometimes slapdashedly infuses party-hearty anarchy with hectoring moral outrage.
Read the full reviewPrecisely because their attitudes are so bluntly hedonistic and apolitical, Harold and Kumar manage to be fairly persuasive when they get around to criticizing the status quo, which the movie has the wit to acknowledge itself as part of.
Read the full reviewHarold and Kumar, fortunately, never lose their verbally relentless way of delivering raunch as pure common sense.
Read the full reviewThe movie is unpolished, unabashedly un-PC, and takes on as many "sacred cows" as it can uncover in a slightly-too-long 105 minutes.
Read the full reviewLacks the fresh charm that made their first such an unexpected (if guilty) pleasure.
Read the full reviewIs a truly political stoner movie even possible? The entire point of getting high is to take some of the sting out of life. The movie goes after easy targets and goes soft on the harder issues.
Read the full reviewIt betrays the spirit of the stoner comedy, which has traditionally been subversive--when it wasn't detailing the love affair between two marginally functional young men and their stash of sweet, sweet herb.

Two Thumbs Up! Hilarious!
"I don't know what some of the people below are complaining about - they obviously didn't see the first H"
Very crude and not that funny
"I saw both Harold and Kumar movies. The first one was hysterical, but I was not happy with the sequel. The jokes were extremely crude and if you have sensibilities about things like that like I do then you are not going to like this movie. The movie was a big disappointment."
should've been banned in texas!
"why?...the movie 's storyline hits "close to home""
Pretty funny movie!
"I could have done without all the drug references, but aside from that, this movie was hilarious. These two are truly a good comedy team. I wonder if there will be a third movie? Oh, this isn't one for the kiddies either..."

"A very bad language and senses my wife and I ever watch"
WORST MOVIE EVER
"THEY SHOULD OF BURNED THE NEGITIVE AND COLLECTED INSURANCE-- THIS MOVIS WAS THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN .. I CUAGHT MY SELF LOOKING AT THE LIGHT ON THE WALL ...THIS MOVIE WAS WORSE THAN AFFLICTION.."
Right on target!
"One of the major ************ it right -- this movie skewers everything wrong with the whole "war on terror" nonsense. I'm especially amused at the negative reviews here as they are exactly the kind of thinking that this movie attacks. Yeah, it has some pretty cruse moments, but again and again it is dead on when it parodies the paranoia and stupidity that has stolen the collective American sense of humor in the name of fear and political correctness. It also gives both main characters a bit more depth than the first movie and has a few lines that are definitely going to be repeated as catchphrases for months to come. The first movie was funny, this one is both smart and funny. I was especially pleased that it is not just a movie for teens -- several cultural references that made me chuckle flew right over the heads of the under-21 members of the audience. It's sort of like watching a Bugs Bunny cartoon - kids love the slapstick, adults get the jokes and people with no sense of humor hate it. That's my kind of comedy."
