Gold Circle nails 'Dead'
08/01/06Gold Circle Films has optioned English-language remake rights to Russian horror pic "Dead Daughters," with scribe Jared Rivet on board to adapt. Directed by Pavel Ruminov, original film centered on three girls who are murdered by their mother. To seek vengeance for their untimely deaths, their ghosts randomly pick people to watch. If that person does something wrong or acts out of line, the girls hold a merciless trial.
Gold circles 'Fiance' script
03/23/06Gold Circle Films has acquired scribe Jeff Lowell's script "How I Met My New Boyfriend's Dead Fiance," which will mark his feature directorial debut. Project is on the fast-track with the hopes of putting it into production this fall. Lowell comes out of the TV world, having written for such shows as "The Drew Carey Show," "Spin City" and "Just Shoot Me."
