Synopsis:

Sex and the City: What's Sex Got to Do With It?

Can great sex exist with someone you don't love? Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) is forced to pose this question to herself when she experiences an earth-shattering orgasm with jazz musician Ray (Craig Bierko); despite their connection between the sheets, they don't have much to talk about outside of bed. Samantha (Kim Cattrall) surprises everyone when she announces that she has made a profound connection with Maria (Sonia Braga), who, Samantha proudly reports, has taught her about the joys of a "real relationship." A skeptical Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) makes her own announcement: completely fed up with bad dates, she has decided to go on strike, substituting chocolate for sex. Charlotte (Kristin Davis), meanwhile, wants the full monty -- sex and a relationship -- with Trey (Kyle MacLachlan), who has infuriated her by becoming obsessed with his "John Thomas." ~ Rebecca Flint Marx, All Movie Guide
