TERROR'S ADVOCATE Director Barbet Schroeder on the set of a story about Jacques Verges, a young lawyer who espouses the anti-colonialist cause during the Algerian war and defends Djamila Bouhired, who was sentenced to death. He marries and has two children after he obtains her release. After Verges disappears without trace for 8 years, he takes on the defense of terrorists as he forgets his unique path in law and politics.
